I woke up early. It was around 8am. I simply stopped the alarm and continued sleeping until I felt well recovered. The alarm rang at 5:17am. I felt physically strong. No significant pains anywhere. My left leg was also ok. I decided to go to the parkrun.
I solved my daily sudoku and drank a small coffee. It is warm but the wind is making it tolerable. I like this weather. I was a little bit worried of breaking my muscle fibers again. I decided to simply run. No speed games or similar.
While picking up my bike, I met one of my neighbours. It is always interesting to listen to the old people. Today I discovered that he was/is a physicist. He insisted many times that people need to understand things. In my humble opinion, people do not want to understand anything. We are too stupid to be saved. There is no solution. Maybe a new global nuclear war will save some of us.
I clocked a good 4:31/km 5k in the parkrun. I am happy for it. My leg was stressed. It took me good 6h to feel it flexible again. I am afraid that I am still in front of a long recovery. If everything fits, tomorrow I will try to run in the mountains.
I swam 1000m in the open air pool. It was difficult. Too many obstacles.
I decided to get rid of the smartwatch. I pulled my old suunto core black from the shelf. I put a brand new CR2032 battery and from now on, I just have a stopwatch.
I am progressing with my reading. Txekhov short stories are interesting. I like most of them.
